Why HEYID exists
HEYID started with a simple observation: the most interesting conversations often happen by accident, with people we've never met before. The problem is that in the real world, this kind of chance rarely comes along — and when it does, language often gets in the way. We wanted to change that.
What we do
HEYID connects people from around the world in one-on-one conversations, with real-time automatic translation. You don't need to know the other person's language to start talking — the technology handles that, so you can focus on the conversation itself.
Who it's for
Anyone who feels like talking to someone new — whether out of boredom on a quiet evening, curiosity about the world, or simply because there's no one else around right now. You don't need a specific goal or a plan for the conversation — just the willingness to start one.
Safety and moderation
